Peter Miller is CO-CEO and Co-Founder of The Kinetik Group. Prior to establishing Kinetik, Peter had a very successful, 25-year career with Westfield Group and Westfield Corporation, which was later acquired by Unibail-Rodamco in 2018 to form Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW). Under the new URW company, Peter was promoted to COO, UK, Italy and Benelux and was appointed as a member of the global Senior Management Team.

Bill Giouroukos is CO-CEO and Co-Founder of The Kinetik Group. Prior to establishing Kinetik, and following a 20+ year international career with the Westfield Group and Westfield Corporation, Bill consulted on an executive level to a number of property and retail organisations in Australia, the Middle East and the UK. These include Al Futtaim, Stockland, GPT and Mirvac, Blackstone, ISPT, Prudential and The Crown Group, with consultancy services and advice delivered across all retail operations including asset management, leasing, marketing, income maximisation, new projects, mixed-use and master planning.

James has spent almost 30 years in the property industry, and prior to establishing his own business in 2003, held various senior roles with Westfield (over a successful 10 year career there), culminating in co-establishing their European business in 1998 in London. James has been directly involved with over 2.7m Sqm of shopping centre assets (worth approximately £8.7 billion (€9.8 billion)), over his career.

Roland over 30 years’ experience at Westfield and the Scentre Group, was the lead architect for the company and was responsible for the design and delivery of over 45 iconic retail, dining and leisure destinations across the Australian and New Zealand portfolio. Projects included Westfield Bondi, Westfield Sydney, Westfield Miranda, Westfield Warringah, Westfield Chermside, Westfield Doncaster and Westfield Newmarket in New Zealand.

As well as the larger projects, Roland has managed several smaller developments under A$50 million including shopping centre extensions and interior upgrades. Roland also gained the trust of large joint venture partners including QIC, AMP Capital, Dexus, GIC/Singapore.

Roland joined Westfield Holdings in 1986 as Design Architect with his first project as part of the onsite Design and Construction team for the Westfield Eastgardens development. Following this successful delivery, Roland was responsible for master-planning and leading the design teams for Westfield Miranda and the creation of Australia’s largest shopping centre, Westfield Parramatta.

Roland’s successful career of leading master-planning, concepts and interiors’ teams, culminated in the promotion to General Manger, Design Concepts in 2002. Roland led the team which was recognised in the industry as leaders in conceptualising and executing outcomes which define iconic assets within Scentre Group’s portfolio. Westfield Sydney, a fully integrated retail and lifestyle precincts with two commercial towers and an elevated commercial tower sky lobby was a leading example in the industry.

Prior to Westfield, Roland was in Asia with an architectural practice involved in retail, mixed use, commercial and lifestyle resort projects. Roland holds a Bachelor of Architecture Degree (Hons) University of New South Wales.

Mark Rossi - Financial Analysis & Financial Management Associate - The Kinetik Group

Mark Rossi has over 25 years’ investment management experience and has been a trusted senior finance executive business partner in the commercial property industry for blue chip companies including Stockland, the formerly listed Valad Group and Westfield. Mark has worked with Executive Leadership teams to establish strategic direction and ensure budgets and investment decisions are aligned to drive delivery and results. Assisting with key commercial decisions, Mark also has extensive experience influencing Board and Executive level decisions.

From 2010 – 2019, Mark held Senior Finance roles in Stockland’s Commercial Property division. This division comprised over 70 property assets with a total value around $11 Bn, Gross Revenue $0.8 Bn, EBIT $0.6 Bn and delivered approx $2 Bn development spend. Mark was part of the Senior Executive team responsible for setting and delivering the commercial property business strategy.  Mark was responsible for development feasibility and investment/divestment proposal review and approval, Board and monthly management finance reporting and analysis, Budget, Forecast and Long-Term Forecast preparation, analysis and review.

Prior to Stockland, Mark held a number of senior positions at Valad Group (a listed Property Funds Management business) from 2003 to 2009, including CFO For Asia Pacific. Valad Group’s Asia Pacific operations comprised two listed entities and six unlisted property funds. Mark was responsible for all financial operations including bank relationships, audit and statutory reporting, Board reporting, investment analysis, development feasibilities, acquisition structuring and IPOs. Mark has also held a number of financial roles for Westfield’s Australian and New Zealand operations from 1994 to 2003.

Mark is a Chartered Accountant, holds a Bachelor of Business degree from the University of Technology, Sydney and completed a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment from the former Securities Institute of Australia.

Scott Douglas - Associate Director Queensland, The Kinetik Group

With a career that spans over 27 years, Scott has extensive experience within the Property sector, previously holding senior executive roles at Brisbane Airport Corporation, QIC and Westfield. Prior to joining Kinetik Group, Scott held the position of Executive General Manager, Property at the Brisbane International Airport. As a member of the Executive Leadership team his areas of responsibility included corporate policy, organisational strategy and group financial performance in addition to leading the property business. Brisbane Airport boasts the largest privately-owned mixed-use development site within in 10km of any capital city.

[Brisbane Airport]… Being governed by federal planning legislation, the team’s attention was focussed on masterplaning this regionally significant site to include a variety of uses from retail, office and industrial through to more specialist uses of health, education, entertainment and aviation services. The property team was responsible for all non-aviation land including the 450 business and 24,000 employees located on 2,700 hectare site.

Scott held the positions of Investment General Manager and Fund Manager at QIC in his 20-year career with QIC. While at QIC, he was responsible for planning, resourcing and delivery of a number of key projects, including development of Coomera and Robina town centres on the Gold Coast, redevelopment of Grand Central and the Toowoomba CBD transformation and Claremont Quarter in Perth. Scott was also instrumental in the establishment and management of QIC’s Shopping Centre Fund.

Scott spent 5 years with Westfield as a Development Executive working in Sydney and Auckland and delivering projects that included Westfield Marion, Westfield Tea Tree Plaza, Westfield Arndale and Westfield Queensgate. Throughout this time his experience has focussed on the Fund Management, Development Management and Asset Management of large scale, community focussed assets as well as building teams of professionals tasked with project assessment and delivery.

Scott has been a Queensland Divisional Council Member of the Property Council of Australia since 2014 and was formerly a Board member of the Property Industry Foundation. He also holds non-executive director roles on a number of educational and not-for-profit organisations and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

David has over 33 years’ experience designing and delivering major landmark developments and master plans around the world, and has worked very closely with high profile Developers, Funds, Entrepreneurs, Local Governments, Stakeholders and Occupiers.

David has worked very closely with Peter, Bill, James and others in The Kinetic Group for over 20 continuous years in the UK, Europe, Middle East and Australia. He has the combined experience of having been Head of Design at Westfield in the UK for 7 years from 2000 with founding Leonard Design Architects, the Practice he has run with his co-Directors for the last 13 years. He has worked on developments in over 30 countries.

He combines global knowledge, strategic thinking and experience in all residential typologies including Build to rent and student, Grade A offices and co-working, retail and f&b, leisure, culture, entertainment, hotels, sport and transportation with a passion for creating sustainable places and great buildings

A few key projects include:

  • The masterplan and delivery of Sheffield City Centre – 200,000m2 of high quality mixed use buildings over 9 City blocks for 4 Grade A offices and co-working, 2 hotels, a cultural venue and makers market, 320 residential units, shops, cafes and restaurants and public realm
  • The collaborative masterplan for Lilleaker in Norway for the delivery of 300,000m2 over 16 mixed use, high density town centre blocks, replacing an existing shopping centre and commercial buildings with new streets and public spaces for offices, hotels, cultural, retail, education, residential, live entertainment and leisure buildings on a riverside setting
  • Vanlose, Copenhagen – the transformation of a half built shopping centre into a mixed use destination with 180 residential units
  • David is currently working on the transformation of Churchill Square shopping centre in Brighton in the UK into a mixed use high rise and large scale beachfront regeneration scheme with conference and music venue, sky-garden, urban office campus, hotels and residential towers.
  • The masterplan for Dubai Big Box for Al Futtaim, a mixed use development including a large format Ikea
  • Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City, two of the highest profile retail and mixed use centres

David has two First Class Honours Degrees from the University of Nottingham School of Architecture and Urban Design. He is an occasional speaker at conferences and Universities and a Design Review panellist for Nottingham City Council.

Hugh Radford - The Kinetik Group - Leasing Strategy & Occupiers

Hugh is one of the UK’s pre-eminent leasing strategists and advisors and has over 35 years experience dealing with large complex retail focussed projects. As well as leasing most major UK projects, including Bluewater, Hugh worked with Peter and Bill leading the agency teams on both of Westfield’s London projects.

Hugh has relationships at senior levels with major retailers in the UK and has been instrumental in facilitating international retailers entering Europe via important beach head lettings in the UK

Hugh started his career at Hillier Parker (latterly CBRE). He joined Donaldsons as an equity partner in 2005 and after DTZ bought Donaldsons in 2007 Hugh headed up the Retail team of 60 people. Hugh returned to CBRE in 2013 to head up their London Retail team. He worked with The Cadogan Estate, Grosvenor, Capital & Counties on Covent Garden and British Land on Broadgate Estate where he recently signed the first Eataly store to open in the UK. Currently Hugh is advising the Malaysian funds on the Battersea Power Station development.

Spiro Noussis - - The Kinetik Group, Finance Director, UK & Europe

Spiro Noussis is a highly experienced property professional who has founded, managed and developed commercial real estate businesses for over 15 years.

As Chief Executive Officer of Rockcastle Global Real Estate Company Ltd he executed the merger with New Europe Property Investments Plc (NEPI) in July 2017 and the new company, renamed NEPI Rockcastle plc, is now the largest retail landlord in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) with a portfolio of dominant retail centres exceeding €5bn in value. He was directly responsible for building the direct property business of Rockcastle which included the acquisition/development of retail centres in Poland, Czech Republic and Hungary worth €2bn and establishing the operational headquarters in Warsaw, Poland. Following the merger Spiro became Co-CEO and an Executive Director of the company to ensure a smooth handover.

In 2010 Spiro co-founded Lodestone, a South African based retail-focused property fund. He left the company in 2014 to join Rockcastle in the UK, after which Lodestone was listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange and subsequently acquired by a larger South African listed property REIT in 2017.

A graduate of the University of the Witwatersrand, Spiro started his private equity career in South Africa and in 2005 moved into property development and investment before relocating to London where he is now based”.
