The Westfield team recognised the long-term opportunities to create new hotel and leisure facilities at Stratford which stretched beyond the demand from The London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics Games. The Westfield team developed, constructed, leased and sold three hotels which are part of the Westfield Stratford City estate to Premium Inn, Holiday Inn and Staybridge Suites and a fourth hotel located next to the centre, the Marriot’s Moxy Hotel. These hotels enjoy high levels of occupancy which are achieved through the widespread regeneration of the area. The success of Stratford as a destination has led to the construction of further hotels in the area.
